The movie THE WHALE RIDER was about a young girl name PAI she wasn't valued for the community or her family. she wasn't valued because she had a twin brother but her mom was giving birth she lost him and the name they were going to put him the named her like that. she was treated very bad.she didn't have lots of privilege like the rest of the kids that went to  that secret school.she also wanted to to do what they were doing  in the secret school but like she was sitting in front of the bench and they demand her to sit in back and like she didn't listen she couldn't do what the other kids would do.
